Detox the Seasonal Body for Spring:A Yin Yoga Workshop
IIn Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Liver (肝, Gān) energy is known as the "General" or "Commander" of Qi, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of Qi (energy), blood, and emotions throughout the body.
According to TCM, the emotion associated with the Liver is anger & frustration.
When the Liver is imbalanced, we may feel irritable, angry or stuck. When balanced, we feel clear, decisive, and inspired.
Join me for a deliciously grounding afternoon of Yin Yoga to create harmony with the earth's cycle of Spring
According to Chinese Medicine, Spring is an innately supportive time to cleanse your whole being.
This workshop is designed to support the smooth flow of Liver Qi, aiding gentle detoxification and restoring energetic balance within the Liver Meridian.
Through mindful Yin practices, we’ll encourage release where stagnation often accumulates, particularly in the hips, inner thighs, and side body—helping to harmonize the body, calm the mind, and soften the emotional landscape.
This 2 hour mini-retreat includes:
-
Yin Yoga sequences lovingly curated to stimulate the Liver and Gall Bladder Meridians, which are most active and most likely to become out of balance in the Spring.
-
Guided Pranayama (breath work) & meditation.
-
Restorative Yoga to support the body as it metabolizes this deep practice.
-
Sound Healing to offer vibrational frequencies that induce deep relaxation, helping to release stress and tension.
Let’s set intention together for the Spring.
You’ll leave feeling cleansed, grounded, and renewed, with space created for the rising energy of Spring and the natural impulse toward growth and clarity.
All levels welcome.
Beginners welcome.
