Detox the Seasonal Body for Spring
IIn Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Liver (肝, Gān) energy is known as the "General" or "Commander" of Qi, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of Qi (energy), blood, and emotions throughout the body.
According to TCM, the emotion associated with the Liver is anger & frustration.
When the Liver is imbalanced, we may feel irritable or stuck. When balanced, we feel clear, decisive, and inspired.
Join me for a deliciously grounding afternoon of Yin Yoga to create harmony with the earth's cycle of Spring
According to Chinese Medicine, Spring is an innately supportive time to cleanse your whole being.
The workshop practices will support detoxification and energy balance of the Liver Meridian as well as harmony and release in the physical and subtle energy centers of the body, heart and mind. Join me for some delicious hip opening and side body sequences.
You'll emerge feeling cleansed and renewed and ready to make space for the Spring months ahead.
This 2 hour mini-retreat includes:
-
Yin Yoga sequences lovingly curated to stimulate the Liver and Gall Bladder organs, which are most active and most likely to become out of balance in the Spring.
-
Guided Pranayama (breath work) & meditation.
-
Restorative Yoga to support the body as it metabolizes this deep practice.
-
Sound Healing to offer vibrational frequencies that induce deep relaxation, helping to release stress and tension
Let’s set intention together for the Spring. You'll emerge feeling grounded and ready to embrace all that the Season of Growth and Expansion has to offer.
All levels welcome.
Beginners welcome.
My Seasonal Body Yin Yoga workshops sell-out so early registration is recommended.
Due to high demand, l'm leading the same workshop on two different dates in two different locations in SF.
